Champaign weekend

Who is a bit familiar with Middelkerke knows that even in the autumn and winter season this town is full of activities.
It has become a tradition, in November, to open the doors of the casino for a huge three-day champagne tasting, open for everyone.
11 artisan winemakers from the heart of the Champagne region, will be showing their best champagnes.
On Friday the start sign is given for the 14th edition of this champagne weekend, with an opening ceremony to chose the new “Knight in the order of Champagne”.
Our various activities will undoubtedly appeal to all visitors.

Wine journalist Alain Bloeykens will guide you to the exciting world of champagne. With him, you will taste in 45 minutes, 5 different champagnes en he will reveal the most persistent myths.
